12.1+ Fav Setup Again
Daily - Bullish Bullish again. Still? Squeeze fired. Could rip and leave everyone behind. Or, flag then go higher. Bull gap at 6780ish that will at some point be tested. Previous supply at 6870. Currently closer to previous swing high then previous swing low. 4h - Bullish Putting in a HH albeit just below a supply zone. Ribbon is bullish so will take a lot more effort to dive, but a higher low will be made at some point. 675 spy is the swing put trigger and likely the first t

11.24: Favorite Setup x 2
It's a 10m mean reversion but a 'late' higher probability entry than timing the top or bottom. We're looking at structure on a 10m basis. At the very least we need a a HSH or LSL with PO divergence, ideally from an extreme level but at worst above +/- 618. Pivots should be 10+ candles apart. Then we're waiting for a loss of the 3m21e with a shift in color on the 3m21e pivot. Ideally the 3m is in a squeeze with a steep PO slope. Ideally the 10m HSH or LSL is aligned with a maj

Yesterday was all about having a real thesis rooted in price action and structure. Everything compelling action. Bounce off support, with divergence, plus a break of TL resistance and understanding that price runs in waves up to its target and no pullback is reason to worry. My job is to wait until that obvious setup shows up. Because it will. And, when it does I need to be thinking clearly and not bring scar tissue from sub-optimal trades. I wait. Structure is the direction,

What did I do yesterday? As typical I didn't take the first trade and so was over eager to take the second. Despite having a clear indication of my stop, instead of taking it, I averaged down. I averaged down so much that I was content to get out breakeven. When in reality if I had just waited to enter where I exited $4, the cons ripped to $14 and then peaked at $60, finally closing at $30. I have the right read. I continue to fail at being patient and purpose. I'm often righ

Yesterday was all about being aware of pivots, being patient and scaling in. Daily Yesterday's candle was very bearish but can also be seen as a move to take out the previous bull gap. We're still holding the highish volume hammer and the previous quarter close and D48. We're still positive on PO with a squeeze brewing. Structurally we're still bullish and currently going to retest support. Yes we may break down, but the trend is still up until it's not. On /es it look a litt

Patience is key. Waiting to truly understand 3m pivots after identifying a thesis on the 10m. There is no rush to grab something. There are multiple chances to enter. Scaling in made it infinitely easier to reduce fomo (by entering, but not at the risk of a full position) and lock into the price action to then determine if it makes sense to add size to exit quick and let the original position run to the intended target. My first trade ended up reaching the expected target and

Been a minute because I've been so busy with Hutch. Having said that, I have traded a little despite not going through my process. That works until it doesn't. And, sizing was a real issue. I'm committed to my process. Trading slowly, calmly and frankly with the goal of not trading at all is the only way to see things clearly and succeed long term. Daily Daily bias is up. We hammered off the previous quarter close and D48. That Friday or even Monday am was the ideal time to e

Daily Still bullish. Yesterday the D21 and previous resistance acted as support. We have the quarterly GG play open up to SPY 700. If we lose previous resistance, then PQC and D48 is next up. I could see us trapping late shorts down there before moving higher. On SPX we've already rejected the quarterly call trigger, but the 21e held. PO is trending down but not curling yet. Daily bias is bullish. We may find support here and long term calls could be an interesting play. 4H S

Weekly Recap
Really solid week though still being an asshole with my position sizing. More patience. More conviction. Smaller risk. Hold longer. Yes, I profited but in some cases it's because I sized and exited quick. I highlight yesterdays afternoon trade as perfect. I waited, waited, waited for the ideal setup. I took a tiny position. And, even though it was tiny, because it was the right move, we still moved the needle. That's what I aspire to do every time. 10m levels of interest. Ann

10.31 Last day of the Month
I will establish - like Mancini - levels with which I'm willing to engage at. Outside of that I will let price do it's thing. Daily Everything still bullish. Quarterly call trigger and Daily 8e held as support yesterday. SPY overnight retested both and again we bounced. We did get down arrows firing on RAF and a mean reversion dot on PO. Doesn't mean we revert immediately, just less LIKElY to rip higher without a deeper pullback. 4h 618 hit yesterday. 21e and bull gap held as

When I think about yesterday... It's interesting/frustrating/noteworthy that my initial trade with really small size, I was unwilling to take a small move against me and therefore cut the position (only for it to rip in my original direction). Then later when I put more size, I was willing to stomach drawdowns and even average down -- totally accepting the loss? but maybe also that much more confident. I think maybe it had more to do with the confidence in the edge than it di

Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Rate decision at 2p. Jpow starts speaking at 2:30p. Volatility expected. I do not have to trade. I do not have to put my capital at risk. I have to go through my checklist to initiate a trade. I have to size extra small because the volatility can produce enough upside while the lateness in the day opening me up to full downside. Do less. Daily Bullish and crazy extended. We're more than 2 std dev above the 21e. I certainly wo

Didn't get to the screen until 3p today. I was - as I should always be - very reluctant to trade. However, we basically had the same setup as yesterday. All time frames bullish. The 10m very much acting as support. A clear morning star off the 10m8e with a later wick off that same level of support. Then the 3m started holding as well, with a squeeze. The 500 level on SPY and previous HOD was just above and that was the play. Gamma didn't show any material strength above 6900

Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Checklist. Size. Daily - Bullish Since Thursday am.. A massive gap up Friday, followed by another gap up today. We are now pretty extended from the Daily ribbons while also having passed the quarterly call trigger on both SPX and SPY. Next level up is the quarterly 382 at 6903 on SPX. Today we may start extending the expanding the squeeze. We're also starting to approach the distribution zone

Long hiatus because of my other job. Back to what drives me. Daily Everything is still very bullish. However, yesterday and Monday we failed to break out of the extreme supply zone created last Friday. We retraced almost the whole move and as of 2:45p we're putting in an evening star reversal on the daily. But, that could easily be a restest of the daily 21 before continuation. There's no reason to predict, we'll just wait for price to determine the probabilities. Looks actua
